JUSTIN SHAW · PARK CITY, UTAH
AI, technology, and a life shaped by curiosity. I’m Justin Shaw. Here’s a little of how I see things.
A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I’m Justin Shaw, from Park City, Utah. I’m quiet by nature, independent in how I think, and drawn to questions that take a little work to answer.
I’m largely self-taught. I follow an interest, read closely, try things, and keep going until I understand them better. I value the freedom to make my own choices and the simplicity of knowing what matters to me.
Listen to different views. Look at the evidence. Decide what makes sense.
The best part of learning something is finding a way to use it.
Progress usually comes from small things done consistently.
WHAT I’M INTO
These are the subjects I can happily spend hours figuring out.
01
Trying AI tools, understanding their limits, and finding where they help with real tasks.
02
Looking at how software works, how systems fit together, and what makes a tool worth using.
03
Understanding credit, everyday financial decisions, and the planning behind greater independence.
HOW I LEARN
I learn best when I can work through something for myself. That usually means a mix of research, experimentation, and a few attempts that don’t work.
01
Work out what I’m actually trying to understand before looking for an answer.
02
Compare sources and explanations. Pay attention when the details don’t agree.
03
Put the idea to work, see what happens, and change my approach when I need to.
AWAY FROM THE SCREEN
Places to explore, music to get lost in, and a good meal along the way.
National parks, scenic beaches, and the chance to see a place I haven’t been before.
Music gives me a way to unwind and enjoy a little space from everything else.
Mexican and Indian food. Plenty of flavor—and usually something spicy.
